Fantastic Free Motion Borders - Claudia Pfeil

Claudia will guide students through this class to learn and master various motifs. Learn beautiful, distinctive leaves & flowers & more. The focus on this class is to fearlessly fill borders & sashings using free motion techniques. You won't find any tools, gadgets or marking in this class.
Students will learn to develop their own personal style with fun and fanciful stitching. You will be encouraged to use your longarm in much the same manner as a pen. Claudia will walk you step by step through simple designs and continue through many more advanced techniques, working at your own pace.
Hands-on Class for the beginner to intermediate quilter.
Flexible Fillers and Creative Couching - Claudia Pfeil

Bring that background to life! Claudia will teach you to create & fill abstract outlined areas using an array of background fillers. These abstract spaces, filled with different background fillers, will be outlined with colourful yarns, wools & various fibres using a couching technique Claudia will teach you in this class. You will work through various textures, stripes, feathers, and geometric motifs that will add an opulent touch to your class sample.
This hands-on class is for the intermediate/advanced machine quilter.

A quick look around your quilting room will reveal an endless supply of rulers and stencils you have no idea how you will ever use. Claudia will show you different drawing methods and countless ways to to use rulers and stencils. You will go home with a small one of a kind wholecloth that Claudia helped you create is this never-to-soon-forget class.
This class will make you look at every ruler & stencil in your stash in a whole new light.

Extreme Background Textures - Claudia Pfeil

In this advanced class, students will be challenged to fill their 12" blocks with daring designs the Claudia Pfeil way. You will have a great time experimenting step-by-step with simple diagonal feather techniques, then you will combine those feathers with bold, graphic motifs to create your intricate block designs. Claudia will teach you how to build new and original designs upon your opulent feather. This is a challenging and fun class where you will be pushed into productivity. No time for a break!
This hands-on class is for the more advanced machine quilter.
Gambling with Echoes - Claudia Pfeil

Take the most simple quilting design and learn to make it an opulent, spectacular looking motif. Claudia will show you how you can take simple echoing to the next level of visual excitement. You will learn to echo with different spaces, fillers & lines, curved or straight, narrow or wide, open, rolling & frisky. There is no limit to the fun you will have in this class. Have fun and play with echoes.
